We are currently seeking experienced and certified Asbestos Workers. As an Asbestos Worker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe removal, handling, and disposal of asbestos-containing materials. Your expertise in asbestos abatement procedures and strict adherence to safety regulations will contribute to maintaining a healthy and hazard-free environment for clients and workers.

Responsibilities:
Asbestos Abatement:
Perform asbestos inspections and assessments to identify the presence of asbestos-containing materials.
Safely and effectively remove asbestos materials following established protocols and procedures.
Utilize appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and engineering controls to minimize asbestos exposure.
Employ containment measures to isolate work areas and prevent the spread of asbestos fibers.
Use specialized tools and equipment to safely handle and remove asbestos-containing materials.
Site Preparation:
Set up and prepare the worksite for asbestos abatement activities.
Install containment systems, including barriers, negative air pressure units, and decontamination units, as required.
Seal off affected areas to prevent the release of asbestos fibers into the surrounding environment.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations pertaining to asbestos removal procedures.
Material Handling and Disposal:
Carefully handle, package, and transport asbestos-containing materials in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
Properly label, seal, and secure asbestos waste containers for safe transport and disposal.
Coordinate with appropriate agencies and disposal facilities to ensure proper disposal of asbestos materials.
Safety and Compliance:
Adhere to strict safety protocols and regulations related to asbestos abatement.
Conduct air monitoring and sampling to assess and verify the effectiveness of containment measures.
Regularly inspect and maintain personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure proper functionality.
Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to stay updated on asbestos regulations and best practices.
Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of all asbestos-related activities, including inspections, abatement procedures, and waste disposal.
Prepare detailed reports and documentation as required by regulatory agencies.
Communicate effectively with project managers, clients, and team members regarding project progress and any issues or concerns.
Qualifications:
Valid asbestos worker certification or license issued by the appropriate regulatory agency.
In-depth knowledge of asbestos abatement techniques, regulations, and safety procedures.
Ability to interpret and apply local, state, and federal regulations related to asbestos removal.
Proficiency in using specialized tools and equipment for asbestos handling and removal.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and procedures.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills in dealing with unforeseen challenges.
Good physical stamina and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
