We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join a team as Housekeeping Staff. As a member of a housekeeping department, you will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a comfortable environment for guests/clients. Your exceptional cleaning skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall guest satisfaction and enhance a businesses reputation.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning and Maintenance:

    • Perform general cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and sanitizing assigned areas.

    • Ensure all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and equipment are kept clean and in good condition.

    • Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed.

    • Regularly inspect and report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

  2. Room Preparation:

    • Prepare guest rooms, conference rooms, and other designated areas for incoming guests/clients.

    • Change bed linens, replenish towels, and arrange amenities according to established standards.

    • Maintain an organized and efficient inventory of guest supplies and ensure they are readily available.

  3. Laundry Services:

    • Collect, sort, and launder linens, towels, and other items following established procedures.

    • Ensure the cleanliness and proper maintenance of laundry equipment.

    • Fold and store linens and towels in an organized manner.

  4. Guest Interaction:

    • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or inquiries related to housekeeping services.

    • Report and follow up on guest complaints or issues to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction.

    • Assist in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for guests by displaying a positive and helpful attitude.

  5. Safety and Security:

    • Adhere to established safety and security protocols, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.

    • Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or suspicious activities to the appropriate personnel.

    • Maintain confidentiality and respect guests' privacy at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred.

  • Knowledge of cleaning techniques and proper use of cleaning equipment.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize tasks.

  • Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive tasks.

  • Strong communication and customer service skills.

  • Flexibility to work in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • Understanding and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
